This Privacy Policy explains how Feedhouse Pulse Media Ltd. ("Feedhousepulses", "we", "us" or "our"), the operator of feedhousepulses.motorcycles, collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit our website, subscribe to our publications, or contact our newsroom. We are committed to processing personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, and this document is intended to give you a complete and honest account of our practices. If anything here is unclear, contact us at [email protected] and we will explain it in plain language.
We collect information in three ways. First, information you provide directly: when you complete our contact form we collect your name, email address, subject line and message content; when you subscribe to editorial updates we collect your email address and any preferences you select. Second, information collected automatically: our servers and analytics tools record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, device category, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on pages, and approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address. Third, information from cookies and similar technologies, which is described in detail in our Cookie Policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16, and we do not collect special-category data such as health, political or biometric information.
We use personal information to: operate, maintain and secure the website; respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form; deliver newsletters and editorial updates you have requested; measure readership and understand which tactical coverage our audience values most; detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents; and comply with legal obligations. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are consent (newsletters, non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (site security, aggregate analytics, responding to correspondence) and legal obligation (record-keeping and regulatory compliance). We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
We use essential cookies required for the site to function, plus performance, analytics and (only with consent) targeting cookies. A first-party localStorage key records your consent choice so we do not ask repeatedly. A complete table of every cookie category, provider, expiry period and purpose — together with browser-level opt-out instructions — is published in our Cookie Policy. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time using the controls described there.
We share personal data only with service providers acting on our documented instructions: web hosting and content delivery providers, email delivery services for newsletters, and analytics processors operating in aggregate-measurement mode. Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement, and international transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision where required. We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our readers, our staff or the public. In the event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy's protections.
Depending on your location, you have the right to: access a copy of the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request erasure ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. California residents additionally have the right to know the categories of information collected, the right to deletion, the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — noting that we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request". We respond within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA) and may request reasonable verification of identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We retain contact-form correspondence for 24 months after the enquiry is resolved, newsletter subscription data until you unsubscribe plus a 30-day suppression period, and server logs for 12 months for security purposes. Aggregated analytics data that cannot identify any individual may be retained indefinitely. When retention periods expire, data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
We protect personal data using encryption in transit (TLS), access controls on a least-privilege basis, logging and monitoring of administrative access, and regular review of our processors' security certifications. No internet transmission is perfectly secure, but in the event of a personal data breach likely to result in risk to your rights, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours and affected individuals without undue delay.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law or our practices. Material changes will be announced on the homepage at least 14 days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
